All black errrthangg. This outfit is me mourning the loss of all the money I spent this past weekend. Not on gifts but on myself because “I’m worth it.” #treatyoself It’s hard to pull off black on black on black without looking goth but since I’m AZN I can totes “make it work.” (*SNAPS* bitchiss) Or at least say it’s my ninja look. I love this photographic print on this special James “Hot Stuff” Franco collaboration with 7FAM. The palm tree photo is just enough of a reminder of the warm weather I’ve been mising and the black and white makes it look artsy fartsy so I can still feel cool enough to wear it out downtown. Also, peep mah new jooree. A nice new Giles & Brother piece I picked up last week. So excited that I get the chance to meet Philip Crangi, the man behind the jewelry later this week!
Also, Dustin and I are on Lookbook. HYPE this look and fan us if you like our outfits. Thanksss! =)

My DIY camouflage elbow patches!
Isn’t weather confusing sometimes? You’re hot then you’re cold…you’re yes then you’re no…POINT IS sometimes you’re not quite sure how to deal with Mother Nature especially when she’s in transition. The secret is layering. It takes some effort to add layer upon layer of clothing in a smart, sensible, and fashionable way. You may get outside and say to yourself, “Oh, lawdy! I did it again! I layered too much I’m burnin’! I’m burnin’ up!” That’s okay! You can just strip off that top layer and keep it movin’. Try using your layers in creative ways. Think chuncky knits and warm, heavy fabrics. A sport coat over a quilted jacket…a down vest over a blazer or cardigan…a cardigan under a denim jacket…THE POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS! And don’t forget about accessories. It’s a smart way to add even more color and texture…and well, layers;) But a word of caution. If you do have to strip down at any point DON’T forget where you left your various articles of clothing. I had a panic attack on the subway once and got so hot I took off an amazing Woolrich flannel and in my delirium left it on a subway seat. I’m still kicking myself over it!
